British consumer goods giant Unilever PLC has appointed Indian-origin Srinivas Phatak as its CFO, with immediate effect. Phatak was serving as the acting CFO since March this year, while he'll now replace Fernando Fernandez, who has been promoted to the role of CEO following a reshuffling of the company's board. Phatak will receive €1.175-million (over ₹12-crore) as annual fixed pay.
