Unilever has said its CEO Alan Jope plans to retire at the end of 2023, adding its board will start a formal search for his successor. The firm is considering both internal and external candidates for the role. Unilever announced Jope's exit over a year in advance as it was concerned that the news would have leaked, Reuters reported.
