Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the stable growth of higher education, saying, “Ranking framework is an important milestone towards our goal of developed India in 2047.” He announced new ranking mechanism under “one nation, one data” and called for entrepreneurship to be included as a ranking criterion. He also criticised the “perception” parameter used in current rankings.
