Units damaged were built for $26bn, will cause $20bn annual loss: QatarEnergy CEO

Saad al-Kaabi, CEO of QatarEnergy, said the facilities damaged in Iranian strikes were built at a cost of about $26 billion, but will cause them to lose around $20 billion in annual revenue. The damaged units include two LNG trains and one gas-to-liquids plant. Repairs are expected to halt 12.8 million tonnes per year of LNG output for 3-5 years.
