India's 2012 Under-19 World Cup-winning captain Unmukt Chand has become the first-ever male Indian cricketer to sign up for the Big Bash League. The 28-year-old, who has represented Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, has joined Melbourne Renegades. Unmukt had announced his retirement from BCCI cricket in August and had moved to the US.
