A factory-sealed first-generation 4GB model of the Apple iPhone, that was put up for auction by LCG Auctions, was sold for $190,372 (approximately ₹1.5 crore). At the time of its launch in 2007, Apple sold this model for $499 only for a few months. The phone attracted 28 bids in total and sold at nearly 400 times its original price.
