A newlywed in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly refused to consummate her marriage, claiming she was forced into it and loves someone else. A video shows her mother-in-law thrashing her. She left for police station at daybreak and told officials, "My marriage has been forced on me by my family. I want to live with my lover instead of my husband."
