A cab driver in UP's Lucknow fell in love with a call centre employee he met as passenger and, months later, plotted his wife's murder with her help, police said. Umendra Singh and Aarti Verma smothered Anjali Singh before dumping her body in Gomti River. Umendra then handed Anjali's jewellery to Aarti and filed a missing complaint to mislead police.
