Uttar Pradesh's Planning Department instructed all government departments not to use Aadhaar Card as a birth certificate or proof of date of birth. It also pointed out that many government departments were still using the Aadhaar Card as proof of date of birth. This comes after UP CM Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to build temporary detention centres for housing infiltrators.
