West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said UP government, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, is not releasing correct death toll of Maha Kumbh stampede which happened last month. "They have created such hype that a large number of people visited Maha Kumbh but there were no proper arrangements made at the venue," she stated. Notably, 30 people died in the stampede.
