CM Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has renamed five state-run engineering colleges after national personalities. The move aims to integrate technical education with ideals such as social awareness, justice, harmony and nation-building. The colleges located in Gonda, Basti, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur and Mainpuri have been assigned new names after icons like Bhimrao Ambedkar and King Ashoka.
