A 25-year-old man drowned in the Yamuna River near Mukta Devi Temple in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur Dehat while bathing after darshan with family. Eyewitnesses said Mohit alias Golu struggled in deep water as his wife Anjana screamed for help and tried rescuing him. However, assistance arrived too late. Rescue teams later recovered his body, leaving the family devastated.
