A man in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, killed his wife with scissors after she refused to grant him a divorce. The accused, Nafees, reportedly wanted to marry his aunt, which led to frequent disputes with his wife Najma, an Asha worker. The attack took place at Najma's rented home in front of their four children. Police have registered a murder case.
