UP on flood alert after massive flash floods hit Nepal

Uttar Pradesh has issued a flood alert after massive flash floods hit Nepal on Wednesday, causing widespread destruction. In view of the rising water levels in the Gandak and Narayani rivers, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed Maharajganj and Kushinagar district administration to remain on alert and prepare for flooding in the region. Bihar has also issued high alert.
