Ghaziabad Police arrested Gaurav Nagar, a wanted criminal carrying a ₹50,000 reward, during an encounter on June 13, 2026. Nagar sustained injuries in the gunfight and was admitted to a hospital for treatment. During questioning, he allegedly confessed to the kidnapping and murder of Omkar Singh. Police recovered an illegal firearm, cartridges, and other prohibited items from his possession.
