A college student in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district was stabbed in the face with a knife by a man after she objected to him spitting on her. The 25-year-old accused was arrested and a case was registered against him under IPC Section 307 (attempt to murder). The girl was rushed to the hospital following the incident, treated and discharged later.
