Uttar Pradesh has launched its 2025 Footwear & Leather Policy aiming to create 22 lakh jobs via cluster-based hubs in Agra, Kanpur, and Unnao. Backed by up to ₹80 crore subsidies and plug-and-play parks, the policy promotes MSMEs, exports, and integrated manufacturing. It positions UP as a global leather and footwear powerhouse with streamlined approvals and modern infrastructure.
