UP will soon have the maximum number of int'l airports in India

After receiving the Directorate General of Civil Aviation's (DGCA's) approval for a new international airport in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh will have the most number of international airports in India. Apart from Kushinagar, operational airports in Varanasi and Lucknow, and upcoming ones in Jewar and Ayodhya will take the state's count to five. Services from Ayodhya airport could start by 2022.
