UP women turn cow dung into eco-friendly idols, decor for Diwali

A group of women artists in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, are using dung from indigenous cows to make eco-friendly products, including idols of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Durga ahead of Diwali. Their creations also include Lakshmi footprints, baskets, mirrors and other decorative items. The artists produce around 35 to 40 different items, offering an alternative to synthetic products.
