Edtech startup upGrad's net loss widened to ₹626 crore in the financial year 2021-2022 from a loss of ₹211.1 crore in the previous year, according to financial data accessed by business intelligence platform Tofler. upGrad's employee benefit costs jumped to ₹383.16 crore in FY22 from ₹161.5 crore in FY21. upGrad, however, has not laid off any employees in 2022.
