NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL) is expanding UPI acceptance across the UAE in partnership with local regulators and acquirers. Retail, hospitality, transport, entertainment and essential services sectors are being equipped with QR-based UPI payment terminals. This move supports UAE’s push for a cashless economy and eases secure, real‑time INR transactions for millions of Indian travellers.
