UPI transactions rise to 145 billion in Apr-Sep from 114 billion last year: NPCI

According to NPCI, UPI recorded nearly 145 billion transactions, valued at ₹177 lakh crore, during April-September, compared with 114 billion transactions, valued at ₹148 lakh crore, in the corresponding period last year. This marks a 27% year-on-year increase in transaction volume. September 2026 saw a dip, with UPI processing 24.07 billion transactions, compared with 24.5 billion in August.
