Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday cited 'empirical data' and claimed that upper-caste Hindus hold about 41% of India's wealth, which is double than their population of 22.28%. He added that Muslims own 8% of the country's total assets while their share of households stands at nearly 12%. Owaisi also claimed that Hindu OBC holds 31% of India's wealth.
