Uranus is the only planet in our solar system whose equator is tilted at about 98° to its orbit, causing it to rotate on its side. The tilt is believed to have been caused by a collision with an Earth-sized object. Uranus also rotates from East to West, which is the opposite direction as compared to most of the planets.
