Bengaluru-based furniture e-tailer Urban Ladder has turned profitable in 2018-19, posting a profit of ₹49 crore compared with a loss of nearly ₹119 crore in the previous financial year. Its revenues grew 187% to ₹434 crore during the year. Founded in 2012 by Ashish Goel and Rajiv Srivatsa, Urban Ladder earlier laid off 90 employees to cut back losses.
