US and Ukraine signed a memorandum as an initial step towards clinching a mineral deal. As per reports, US could receive royalty payments on profits from Ukrainian mining of resources and rare minerals as compensation for previous aid. The deal was delayed after tiff between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy during their meeting in February.
