US Department of State issued a new travel advisory for India, asking citizens to exercise "increased caution" due to crime and terrorism. "Rape is one of the fasting growing crimes...Violent crimes, including sexual assault, happen at tourist sites...Terrorists may attack with little or no warning in India," US' advisory said. "Don't travel alone, especially if you're a woman," it added.
