US President Joe Biden has sanctioned additional defence aid to Ukraine worth about $675 million, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Thursday. He said the package includes Humvees, howitzers, artillery munitions, armoured ambulances and anti-tank systems. The US has sent aid worth several billions of dollars to Kyiv since Russia's invasion of Ukraine began in February this year.
