The US government has announced that the country's banks will be banned from participating in all bond sales by Russia's central bank, finance ministry and sovereign wealth fund from June 14. It imposed sanctions on several Russian officials and companies over cyberattacks, interference in 2020 US presidential election and other alleged malign actions. The US also expelled 10 Russian diplomats.
