US bookstore chain Barnes & Noble has fired its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Demos Parneros for violating unspecified company policies. Parneros will not be paid severance and will be removed from the board immediately, the company said on Tuesday. Parneros, who was named CEO in April 2017, is the company's fourth chief executive to depart in five years.
