Saturday, 29 November, 2025 Airbus' decision to recall 6,000 jets of its A320 fleet is believed to have been triggered by an incident on October 30, when a New Jersey-bound JetBlue plane suddenly dropped from 35,000 feet to 10,000 feet. The flight was eventually diverted to Tampa, Florida, and about 15-20 passengers were injured. Pilots had reported a "flight control issue" after the incident.
