The US Department of Justice on Tuesday charged two Chinese nationals for spying on behalf of China’s Ministry of State Security and trying to recruit American service members as spies for China. The two men gathered intelligence about US Navy bases by leaving $10,000 in a locker in 2022, in exchange for classified information, the US Department of Justice said.
