US clears $2.68 billion air defence package for Ukraine

US has approved a potential $2.68 billion sale of air defence equipment and related services to Ukraine amid Russia's growing missile and drone attacks. The proposed package includes various types of missiles, launchers, counter-drone radars and trailers. This comes as the European Union on Friday announced disbursing €3.3 billion to Ukraine for the purchase of drones and missiles.
