A US court has accepted a plea filed by Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani for a pre-motion discussion to dismiss the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) case against him. The SEC had sued Gautam Adani in 2024 over an alleged ₹2,400-crore bribery scheme. Gautam Adani's legal counsel has called the case "legally unsustainable" as it lacks evidence.
