US court blocks Trump's rapid third-country deportation policy

A US federal appeals court rejected a Trump administration policy allowing rapid deportation of migrants to third countries without adequate safety hearings. The 1st Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower court ruling calling the policy unlawful. Over 25,000 migrants were deported to 29 countries under the policy. The case may reach the Supreme Court.
