US court rules Trump admin illegally blacklisted Anthropic

A US judge on Thursday blocked the Pentagon from blacklisting Anthropic, escalating the AI company's legal fight with the military. Anthropic sued after the Defence Secretary labelled it a national security supply-chain risk, following its refusal to allow Claude models for surveillance or autonomous weapons. The judge found that the designation was "illegal and baseless."
