The US has listed Babbar Khalsa International among the organisations that pose a risk to American "personnel and interests overseas". The National Strategy for Counterterrorism released by National Security Adviser John Bolton said the group is responsible for "significant terrorist attacks in India and elsewhere that have claimed the lives of innocent civilians".
