The US denied a South Korean news report saying that it was considering withdrawing 4,000 of the 28,500 US troops from South Korea. The report claimed that the withdrawal will happen if South Korea doesn't pay more to the costs of the deployment. "News stories such as this expose...irresponsible flaws of single anonymous source reporting," US Department of Defense said.
