US denies visa to Russian Dy Foreign Minister for UNGA, Russia calls it 'unfriendly act'

US has denied a visa to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov ahead of the UN General Assembly in New York, a senior Russian official said. Russia slammed it as an "unfriendly act", adding that the decision conflicts with US' responsibilities as the host country. Alimov was also denied the US visa in May, ahead of a UNSC meeting.
