US denies visas to 9 Indian wrestlers for U-23 World C'ships, age and employment status cited

As many as nine Indian wrestlers have been refused US visas ahead of the U-23 World Championships in Las Vegas, with officials citing their employment status and that they are under 20. Those affected include 2024 Under-17 world champion Neha Sangwan. The Wrestling Federation of India has written to the US Embassy seeking reconsideration.
