US denies visas to Iranian President’s aides ahead of Trump meet on Sep 24

The United States has refused to issue visas to some members of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's delegation, including his communications team, ahead of his expected meeting with US President Donald Trump on September 24. This would make Pezeshkian the highest-ranking Iranian official to enter the US since the Middle East war began in February. Iran called the move "unprecedented hostile."
