The US dollar has declined around 8% so far this year, which would be its steepest annual drop in about nine years since 2017, Bloomberg reported. The Australian dollar and Norwegian krone led gains against the US dollar among major peers over the past week. The US dollar also saw its worst weekly decline since June this year.
