The US on Friday said it has decided to drop a $10 million reward it had offered for the capture of Syrian rebel leader Ahmed al-Sharaa. Notably, al-Sharaa's forces led the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad earlier this month. The announcement comes after the first face-to-face meeting between US diplomats and the HTS leadership since the regime change.
