The US has ended Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for over 6,000 Syrians, ordering them to leave within 60 days or face arrest and deportation. The Department of Homeland Security stated conditions in Syria no longer prevent their return. These Syrian nationals, who'd been protected under TPS since 2012, will be provided a complimentary plane ticket and a $1,000 'exit bonus'.
