A Chinese-American nuclear engineer Allen Ho pleaded guilty to conspiring to produce 'special nuclear material' in China violating the US Atomic Energy Act, according to reports. Ho assisted a Chinese state-owned nuclear power firm in procuring US-based engineers to assist in manufacturing nuclear reactors. The 'special nuclear material' could be used as the main ingredient in nuclear explosives.
