A Fire Department crew in the US' California rescued a pigeon after it inhaled smoke from the vehicle fire they were responding to. A video showed firefighters holding an oxygen mask over the bird's beak to help it breathe. After regaining its strength, the pigeon flapped its wings and flew away.
