David Belford, owner of US-based United Furniture Industries, has reportedly disappeared after firing all 2,700 employees through texts and emails last week. Belford flew to Paris after firing employees two days before Thanksgiving, New York Post reported. The businessman is not returning anyone's phone calls and has also cancelled a plan to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the report said.
