American footballer Troy Polamalu, who got his hair insured for over ₹6.8 crore ($1 million), has the Guinness World Record for the 'highest insured hair'. He got the insurance from Lloyd's of London by shampoo brand Head & Shoulders on August 30, 2010. Polamalu's hair were about three feet long at the time of insurance.
