US founder of ₹81-crore candy firm once faced homelessness, slept in car with her son

US-based Silky Gems Founder Gia Huynh revealed that she faced homelessness after she immigrated to US from Vietnam and slept in a car with her five-week-old son. "I didn't graduate fifth grade, but because I put my mind to this, I made it work," she said. Huynh's candy company brought in over $9 million (₹81 crore) in 2024, CNBC reported.
