The US on Sunday imposed new sanctions against three Russian television stations and banned 27 executives from Gazprombank in response to Ukraine's invasion of Russia. This is the first time that the US has imposed sanctions involving Russian gas exporter Gazprombank. The new sanctions also included eight executives from Sberbank, and Moscow Industrial Bank and its 10 subsidiaries.
